Beskrivelse: The camera, blocked by the crowd, shows only long shots and the view of the crowd from the speakers' platform, rather than the speakers themselves. The bales of hay are stacked over a considerable area, and the hoses are being played on those stacks which are smouldering or burning. Several stacks are completely ruined before the fire is under control. The loyalists parade through the streets of the city holding banners. At the rally Carson addresses them from a platform covered with Union Jacks. He holds up his cane - the silver-topped blackthorn of the Ulster Division (?) - in a symbolic gesture. The captions state that in 1917 the RAF shot down 4,102 enemy for the loss of 1,203 of their own men. The film shows a DH4 of 27 Squadron being made ready for a patrol at Serny, possibly 17th February 1918. The groundcrew wheel the plane out of its hangar, and fit 20-pound bombs. The gunner attaches his Lewis gun to the Scarfe ring. The plane takes off.The journalists walk through the grounds of Beaverbrook's home. The group, including Beaverbrook and his children, poses on the terrace.
